About Us

Herb Fong

Herb has been with the University since 1973. He is Manager of the Grounds Services Department, as well as the University's Solid Waste Program and Recycling. Herb has a bachelor's degree in Plant Sciences, a master's degree in Horticulture from UC Davis; and a master's degree in Business Administration. Herb is a Certified Pest Control Adviser and a Certified Arborist. He is a member of a number of professional organizations and has served in leadership positions in various non-profit and professional groups.
