Quercus agrifolia, Coast Live Oak. Located at the Graduate School of Business at the corner of Serra Mall and Lasuen Mall. Known as the Pioneer Oak, this tree is over 200 years old. It was adopted in 1945 in place of the original Pioneer Oak that was removed from its inner Quad location to make way for expansion of the Quad arcade.
